Tameside Coder Dojo

As part of the Council's Every Child a Coder commitment, we have been working hard with local volunteers to set up Tameside Coder Dojo. It’s a free code club, held once a month and is open to those aged 7 to 17 years old. It will have lots of different fun coding activities going on and plenty of mentors on hand to help.

We hope that some of the children at your school will be interested in this. They don’t have to have any experience at all. They just need to want to learn coding, and bring a laptop and their imagination!

Please help us promote this to parents.

The first CoderDojo will take place on Sunday 9th July 11am-3pm at Active Medlock, Sky High Adventure.

It is free to attend, however, placed are limited. Registration is required. Please read the event details in full before booking.

Under 12s require a parent to attend with them.

Coders (or their parents) can book a place now or find out more: www.tamesidecoderdojo.org.uk

Follow us on Twitter @TamesideDojo

We hope to see some of your curious coders there.
