Stalybridge Fire Service visited Year 6 as part of safety week to talk about fire safety.

We were evacuated to Home Farm at Tatton Park to escape the Blitz. We were put to work feeding the pigs and chickens, milking the cows and cleaning the tack. Aunt Mary did let us have a break and toast some bread on the range. We had to go into the shelter during the air raid warning, but luckily it was a false alarm.

In Science we made models of the heart and labelled their parts to learn about how they function.
