Welcome to our reception class page.

We love learning in reception and would like to share some of the things we have been investigating and exploring so far!

We enjoy doing lots of different things in reception including forest school, having visitors in our class and going on trips.

Our class page also includes reception newsletters and information you may need.

Reading in Reception

We are now operating a book swap on a Friday morning in the EYFS outdoor area. The idea is that the children will bring their unwanted books from home and swap them with other children. The children will receive a book stamp card which they will need to bring when they swap their books. When they get 5 stamps they will get a certificate and when they get 10 they will receive a prize. This is to promote a love and breadth of reading. So come on down this Friday and refresh your bookshelf.

Here is some resources that will help you when reading at home.

The skipathon

We had a fantastic time and skipped for 30minutes our legs were really hurting. We worked very hard.
