Central Art Gallery
Year 1 thoroughly enjoyed their visit to the art gallery in Ashton. Did you know entry was free? We focussed on the Harry Rutherford exhibition and by responding to his art work.
In the coming weeks we will continue to study him as an artist. We will then take part in a workshop run by the curator from central art gallery where we will paint our own designs for market stalls on wooden blocks. "Set out your Stall"
Key Recall Facts
Below are the key recall facts which relate to the Year 1 Maths National Curriculum. We encourage you to practise these with your child/children for no longer than 10 minutes everyday.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
Family Learning
We had a fabulous Family Learning week in Year 1! We all had lots of fun making story boxes, puppets, telling stories around the fire in the forest and acting out the different Katie Morag Island Stories - thank you to all the parents and carers that came in to share this with us, the children loved having you there.
